Dashboard

The Dashboard is the page the portal opens on; the logo in the header and Dashboard in the sidebar lead back to it. Everything on it belongs to the boundary selected in the sidebar.

Parts of the dashboard

Part	What it shows
Create New Resource, top right	Opens the Create Resource page — see Create a resource
Access requests	Just-in-time access requests that wait on you — see Access requests. Shown only while something waits.
Recent Resources	The four newest resources in the boundary, with their status, type, resource group and age. View All Resources opens All resources.
Sentinel Insights	The four newest open Sentinel findings in the boundary, most severe first, each with its category, severity and suggested owner. View All Insights opens the boundary's Sentinel findings.
Create a New Resource	A card for each kind of resource — see Create a resource

Create New Resource and the Create a New Resource cards appear only with a role that may write every kind of resource in the boundary, such as Owner or Contributor — see Who sees the create shortcuts.

Recent Resources and Sentinel Insights only show what you may read; without that, they look empty.

Access requests

The card lists what waits on you; the header's bell shows the same lists under Needs you.

• Awaiting your decision — other people's pending requests in the boundary, when you may decide them there (rbac/members/write). Approve or Decline each one.
• Your requests — your own requests: Waiting for an owner while pending, and Activate once an owner has approved one, to start using the access.

Open Access control opens the just-in-time tab of Access control (IAM), which also shows requests you can decide on a single resource rather than on the whole boundary. How requesting and granting works: Just-in-time access.
